Carol is a domestic violence survivor who saw how the system was flawed when her young daughter was required to have unsupervised visits with her father. She created Safe Harbor Child Access Centers, a trauma-informed, inclusive, child-friendly, and supportive space to host supervised visitations and social engagement opportunities for families experiencing separation and divorce. Safe Harbor strives to foster emotional healing, experience positive socialization in a safe space, and eliminate barriers to basic needs to the Hunterdon County community.
