Ronsha started Community Doulas in 2018 to address the disparities in Black materal health. In addition to offering doula services, the organziation trains certified doulas, creating a growing network of caregivers who serve the community. 2025 Honoree Desi Shelton has seen first hand how Ronsha has impacted health equity for Black women in the greater Camden area.
