Paul Nickels, Hackensack, is the creator of Homeless Resource Guide and an advocate for the homeless. Pulling from his own experiences, Paul provides a voice for those who have been silenced by their struggles. Paul is a homeless advocate with the motto of “Helping anyone in need!” After experiencing homelessness, he created an interactive news & resource guide that helps Bergen County homeless, low income & anyone in need with free resources in our community. The Homeless Resource Guide is used by the Bergen County court system to help people get stabilized after homelessness or incarceration. Paul is a well-known advocate for homeless, housing, Veterans, addictions, stigma-free mental health, incarcerated transitioning into society to reduce recidivism
