Frederick Hoffman, of River Edge, a special education graduate who dedicated the last 10 years of his life to raising money for the Leukemia Foundation in memory of his mother and other family members who died from the disease. He bicycles throughout North America to raise funds. He has raised more than $300,000 while traveling to 46 states and the lower 6 provinces of Canada, from Quebec to British Columbia.
