Emily Dempsey is a sixth generation resident of West Cape May who has a lifetime of accomplishments including creating a Center for Community Arts, supporting the creation of the Harriet Tubman Museum, and preserving African-American history in Cape May. CCA is a multicultural education organization whose arts,  humanities, and history programs foster creativity, community building, and appreciation for the rich diversity of our world through arts and humanities programs that reach out to underserved populations.
