About

Anthony Falzo, of Wayne, is a railroad conductor who raced from his train to rescue two toddlers, 18 months & 3 year old brothers, just as the locomotive was about to plow into them. The children had wondered about 300 feet from their home onto an NJ Transit train track. Anthony ran out onto the catwalk of the engine and yelled to the boys to get away. When the slowing locomotive was about 10 feet away from the children, Mr. Falzo stepped off the train grabbed them and pulled them off the track. The children were safe, but needed stiches as a result of the close call.
