En colaboraci\u00f3n con programas de tratamiento establecidos, Charles abri\u00f3 una casa de transici\u00f3n en 2010 en Montclair. La Casa Valentine se convirti\u00f3 en el hogar de nueve hombres en recuperaci\u00f3n que se comprometieron a cambiar sus vidas para mejor. Dos a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s, abri\u00f3 una casa para mujeres en Lyndhurst y otra para hombres en 2015 en Bloomingdale, y hasta la fecha cuenta con cinco casas que han atendido a 175 residentes.
