Sylvia Brown, a Girl Scout, partnered with local leaders in Hackensack, NJ to establish “mini food “Little Free Pantries” on City property, helping create permanent access points for residents experiencing food insecurity. Based on the motto “give what you can, take what you need,” these accessible, 24/7 community drop-boxes are stocked with nonperishable food items and toiletries.
